UKAD (United Kingdom Anti-Doping) is the national anti-doping organization and the promotion of clean sport in Great Britain. Within the framework of the provisions of article 20, paragraph 20.5.3, of the World Anti-Doping Code under which the national anti-doping organizations must collaborate with each other, UKAD and the Monegasque Anti-Doping Committee have come together and have just concluded an agreement of cooperation on sharing information with the aim of coordinating their respective activities and assisting each other in particular in cases of illegal use of prohibited substances and methods appearing on the Prohibited List.

The signing of this agreement is part of the irrefutable desire of our two national organizations to be in full compliance with the World Anti-Doping Code and the provisions of international conventions signed by the Principality, namely in particular the provisions of article 3 of the UNESCO International Convention against Doping in Sport and those of Article 8 of the Council of Europe Convention against Doping.

In doing so, the Monegasque Anti-Doping Committee and UKAD are expanding the range of legal tools at their disposal to promote clean sport and the right of each athlete to practice his discipline in a healthy and fair environment.
