Monegasque Anti-Doping Committee at the 2017 Edition of the Princess Charlene Rally
On April 6, 2017, nearly 400 students from the third year of the Charles III College, the François d'Assise-Nicolas Barré College and the Monaco Hotel Technical High School, divided into groups of 5 to 6 people, took part in the Princess Charlene Rally.
Taking place on a secure 5-kilometer route, the Princess Charlene Rally, intended, through a sporting event common to schools in the Principality, to promote the sharing of the values and objectives of the Princess Charlene of Monaco Foundation and of the Peace & Sport Association as well as to make students aware of the benefits of a positive urban attitude that respects the environment, is punctuated by three intermediate stages of validation, two of which are of a sporting nature and one in the form of knowledge control .

Under the sign of respect
This year, the first sporting stage, consisting for each group to run six times 200 meters, had as its theme "effort and respect for the body" and the second, focused on raising awareness of rescue at sea and carried out at the Aquatic Rescue Center. of Monaco that of "solidarity", materialized by the port over 60 meters of a student on a stretcher.
The knowledge stage consisted of answering a multiple choice questionnaire (MCQ) on the objectives and themes of the Princess Charlene of Monaco Foundation and of Peace & Sport, the organization for Peace through Sport.
The Monegasque Anti-Doping Committee could not fail to join in this rally organized by the Directorate of National Education for Youth and Sports with the collaboration of the Princess Charlene of Monaco Foundation, Peace & Sport and the Association des Parents of Students of Monaco (APEM).

Indeed, the Committee shares the conviction of HSH Princess Charlene of Monaco that “ Sport can change someone, save their life, empower them and offer them an extraordinary destiny », And can only be attached to the goals pursued by His Foundation which is turned, in His own words "Towards these children who can become responsible adults if we show them the way through the values of sport and solidarity ". Similarly, convinced like Peace & Sport that sport is an educational tool of the utmost importance, the Committee, which intends to pursue with the Department of National Education, Youth and Sports the excellence of the collaboration that binds them together, has wished to be present at this educational event by ensuring one of its missions of general interest consisting in establishing the values of sport through prevention, education and training against doping.

In addition to the information stand that it set up at the Petit Gymnase during the event, the Committee, represented by its President, its Permanent Secretary and the Coordinator of its Training, Prevention, Education Commission, distributed to classes and students winners of the information documents on doping produced by UNESCO and the now famous Frisbee bearing the logo of the Committee on the occasion of the presentation of prizes and medals to the winners. He also took the opportunity to renew his support for the “White Card” action of Peace & Sport as evidenced by the photos uniting in the same gesture all those who participated in the success of the 2017 edition of the Princess Charlene Rally.
