A picture is worth a thousand words. Discover all the drawings of the competition organized as part of the Princess Charlene Rally and the International Day of Sport for Development and Peace. The winner is displayed in One.
Creativity and dedication
No one can dispute that drawing is a very rich means of expression, exchange and interpretation. This is the reason why, among the workshops that give the Princess Charlene Rally its full interdisciplinary vocation, a competition, traditionally run by the Peace & Sport Organization and physical education and sports teachers, allows each team to testify to its collective creativity by producing a design reflecting the timeless and universal values carried by the International Day of Sport in the Service of Development and Peace.
In 2018, for the first time since the creation of this competition, a specific diploma was distributed to the members of the team whose drawing was selected by a jury made up of representatives of the Department of National Education, Youth and Sports with in particular the expert eye of a drawing teacher, the Princess Charlene of Monaco Foundation, the Peace & Sport Organization, the Association of Parents of Students of Monaco and the Monegasque Anti-Doping Committee.
The winning design was imposed by the mastery of the line, the organization of the space, the strength of the representation of the theme of the Day and the maturity of its creativity. It is presented below.
While it is naturally appropriate to salute in particular the winning team of the competition which won a half-day discovery at the Rescue Center offered by the Princess Charlene of Monaco Foundation, the Monegasque Anti-Doping Committee has decided, in agreement with its partners to present here all the drawings for a very simple reason.
A beautiful winner
Values at the end of the pencil
Each in their own way, they send out a strong message, inseparable from the values of sport which all tend, and in particular those of integration and education, to building a peaceful and better world by helping to create a climate tolerance, mutual respect and understanding between peoples and nations. They get to the point and in some way all follow a perspective of the heart.
As the great sculptor Auguste Rodin said: “ There is really no beautiful style, no beautiful drawing, no beautiful color: there is only one beauty, that of the truth which is revealed. ". It is precisely because they all reveal the genuine attachment of Rally participants to a noble and generous ideal that they all had to be presented to the public.
The Monegasque Anti-Doping Committee is therefore happy, with its partners, to offer them this well-deserved publicity and to send its warmest congratulations to all their authors.
