The World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA) is pleased to release two new security and privacy training resources on its ADeL (Anti-Doping e-Learning) online learning platform.
These resources are intended to raise awareness in the anti-doping community about privacy and information security issues, as well as to help anti-doping administrators train athletes, their staff and other partners in the anti-doping movement on these topics.
The first resource, Information Security Awareness for Everyone (iSAFE), is a ten-minute video-based information security course designed to help athletes, coaches, anti-doping administrators and other anti-doping partners detect the most common security threats. current in this field and to guard against it. iSAFE presents safe practices that can be applied by participants on a daily basis, particularly when using anti-doping tools online or on applications, such as ADAMS. To earn a Certificate of Achievement, participants must view all six videos and take the quiz at the end of the course.

The second resource is a privacy module, which has been integrated into the ADO Kickstart reference tool for anti-doping administrators. This module, based on new guidelines on the protection of personal information published by WADA in December 2018, outlines step-by-step processes that will help Directors implement the Revised International Standard for the Protection of Personal Information (SIPRP).
To access these new training resources, simply register on Adel or log in to your existing account. iSAFE and the new privacy module will appear on your account home page if they are relevant to the role associated with your account.
Please note that these resources are only available in English for now, and will be translated into French shortly.
