On Tuesday October 29, the Monegasque Anti-Doping Committee hosted a doping awareness session, in collaboration with the National 2 handball team, in order to inform players about the risks and consequences associated with doping. This initiative aimed to provide them with information on prohibited substances, the rules governing them and potential sanctions.
During this exchange, we emphasized the importance of a doping-free sport, the health dangers associated with the consumption of prohibited substances, as well as the individual responsibility of each athlete. We also explained the doping control process and recalled the importance of Therapeutic Use Exemptions (TUEs) for athletes requiring medical treatment.
To conclude this educational session we presented the handball players with the application CMA MED, the latter is an intuitive application that allows you to scan medications to find out whether they are authorized or not.
