The Monaco Anti-Doping Committee visited the Étoile de Monaco, the Principality's gymnastics club playing in the Top 12, to organize an awareness session on the risks associated with doping. During this hour of discussion, the club's gymnasts, as well as their coaches, had the opportunity to discuss several key topics with the members of the Committee.
The main topics discussed included:
- The various violations of anti-doping rules and the associated sanctions,
- The dangers associated with the consumption of food supplements, medications, as well as cannabis,
- The precise course of an anti-doping control, in order to better understand this procedure,
- The importance of individual responsibility of athletes in managing their health and sporting integrity.
- The CMA MED application is an intuitive application that allows you to scan medications to find out whether they are authorized or not.
The Committee thanks the gymnasts and their coaches for their involvement and curiosity during these discussions, which helped to clarify the issues of doping in sport.
