The CMA raises awareness among 380 second-year students about the risks of doping

With the support of the Department of National Education, Youth and Sports, the Monegasque Anti-Doping Committee hosted ten conferences for second-year students in the Principality, namely 380 high school students in total.

During these two-hour sessions, the CMA and doctors from the Sports Medical Center addressed doping from several angles: medical, legal, psychological, sociological and philosophical. The discussions focused on the anti-doping rule violations, sanctions, conduct of controls, and as risks associated with medications, food supplements and prohibited substances.

The students also discovered the CMA MED application, an intuitive tool that allows you to check in a few seconds whether a drug is authorized or not.

Each of the conferences concluded with a discussion period, during which students and teachers were able to ask questions and debate with the speakers.
